This is my first time trying this place.  I have to say that service was great.  Good breakfast menu, fast service.  Asked my waiter what he recommends he said "eggs benedict " I tried & liked .  Will be coming back.

Fantastic service and great food! We went for breakfast - best oatmeal ever - 4 different oats and served with fruit and other good "stuff"

So far one of the best places to enjoy an omelette for breakfast...or any breakfast food for that matter! The menu is huge! Tons of options for omelettes, scrambles, and breakfast sandwiches. And so much more!
My husband ordered the Greek Omelette which looked very good and I ordered the Green and White Healthy Omelette which consisted of egg whites, veggies, avocado, and Swiss cheese. It was delish! I was very impressed with the large portion of avocado they give you. It's a little more expensive compared to the other omelettes but worth it.
You can choose your side and type of bread you want. I went with the tomatoe slices and the English muffins and I made a perfect little breakfast sandwich to go with my omelette.
There are lots of tables so I'm assuming even if it is a busy time of the day (like Sunday Brunch peak hours) you should be able to get a seat in a reasonable amount of time. There is also a good amount of outdoor seating so if the weather is right they can accommodate to pretty big crowds.

This is a good breakfast spot. I had the Eggs Benedict (minus the ham). The house latte is always good: it comes with whipped cream & cinnamon on top. It does get crowded on the weekends so prepare to wait 15-20 minutes. Dog-lovers, you can bring your pets and sit with them outside. The service is always good & the food comes fast.

Jinky's is our breakfast place. I can always get my whole wheat pancakes and organic real maple syrup here unlike other places which usually don't carry these items. The staff is very nice and welcoming as well.

My friend has been trying to take me here for over a year. This morning we finally made it. She absolutely loves the pumpkin pancakes with the marmalade and gets its almost every time (or so I'm told).
Service was very fast. As soon as we sat down they were asking for our drink order. Almost immediately after we ordered our food it was out and ready for us to eat.
The menu is fairly large and the prices aren't too bad. I wound up getting the Eggs Benedict with bacon instead of ham. It was good. Lots of hollendaise sauce. The eggs were cooked perfectly. I tried a bite of my friend's pumpkin pancakes and they were delicious.
Definitely a cute breakfast place and convenient so I'd come back.

Ordered breakfast day after Halloween. Kind of busy, but service was quick and the waiter was great. Coffee came out quickly which was really important & the pot was refilled quickly. Ordered pigs in a blanket. and eggs Benedict .  So many yummy things on the menu, we had a hard time deciding. Great service.

Dynamite breakfast at this joint. Only went once, but will return the first chance I get.

Delicious! My first time trying this place and I am thoroughly pleased. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and it was delicious. Service was prompt and our server was friendly. The iced coffee was also delicious and deserves one star on its own. So glad I live so close to this restaurant!

After a long walk on the pier I decided to stop by for some breakfast.
There was no wait however there was a lot of people in the restaurant.
We were greeted by very nice servers at the front which is a plus for me. I hate seeing miserable waiters.
I ordered an omelette with tots and a French toast. The tots were so damn good and crispy like I like it. Everything was very delicious and came out very quick.
The food is very reasonable and worth coming here.

I invited my sister here for a birthday breakfast for my wife. Her response, "lol that's not breakfast"
Can everybody please educate her on this delightful restaurant?
I've eaten here before and the experience I had makes it a no brainer when somebody asks "how about jinkys?

I personalized a scramble for myself at Jinky's with feta, turkey bacon, and green onions with a side of tots.
Not only did I enjoy the customizable option because it was delicious.... But oh my goodness the tots!! They were seriously so good.

If you are looking for pleeeeenty of options, this place has more options than a super fine dude in a LA nightclub.
It took awhile to decide but I had a mocha latte and the yucatan quesadillas. It was a lot for one person. Overall good breakfast spot because there aren't many in this particular area.

Ancient China gave us the great wall--the Greeks, democracy. NASA put man on the moon and Jinky's discovered Himalayan Beef Chili.
But the constitution of a true gourmet establishment can hardly be defined by the mere sustenance that is processed through its kitchen however--rather, the people.
If there was ever a philosopher among restauranteurs, his name would be Tony, son of Greg of The Thousand Kingdoms of Oaks.
It could be said that Plato omitted a fourth category of citizen from his ideological Republic--and that is the Restaurant Manager.  I like to refer to it as, a priest of hospitality.
If that ideal were to ever be materialized in an organic and conscious being, it would take shape in Tony.
While we didn't have the pleasure of being accommodated by another elite, Katie, she was quite lovely nonetheless.  The concept of "server" I learned today, can be taken to a higher, dare I say, divine status.  I can honestly say she is the sole reason I will return with such urgency.
So now the question begs--the true meaning of Yelp's existence and your visit to this review.  That is, 'would I recommend Jinky's?'
Well, in the words of Tolstoy, "...a man's every action is inevitably conditioned by what surrounds him and by his own body."
Therefore I conclude, engulf yourself at Jinky's. Eat, drink and be merry--fed by the nourishing food and people that constitute this utopia known as, Jinky's Cafe of Thousand Oaks.

Bottomless mimosas $17. Worth it if you’re planning on having more than two but they put just the right amount of champagne in it. Good ratio.
Flaky French toast to die for!! Delicious.

Jinky's is one of those restaurants I've passed by about 20 times. Finally, I decided to stop in for Sunday brunch. 'Twas sunny and breezy and perfect for sitting on the outdoor patio.
I was tempted by the 15+ gourmet Chili's, but decided to order the egg white scramble with shrimp, capers, pesto sauce, scallions, and avocado. The scramble was the perfect size, with the perfect amount of salty capers seasoned throughout. I'm always cautious about ordering shellfish, but these baby shrimp were scrumptious.
My friend ordered the gluten free pesto pasta with salmon. The oily sauce was beyond DELISH! I thought it might have been better paired with shrimp and avocado, but the salmon was also D.E.L.I.C.I.O.U.S.
ALL DAY BREAKFAST + More Choices & Freedom than America could ever dream of....
P.S. Coming back for the pancakes when I have a cheat day.........

I really enjoy coming here. The food is always tasty and fresh. I always tend to order breakfast items, especially the red velvet pancakes, but the last time I did try their burgers and yes, they were tasty as well! Look forward to visiting again soon.

This place has a really nice atmosphere and the staff are so friendly and inviting! I ordered the chicken Alfredo penne pasta and it is so amazing! Their Alfredo sauce is one of a kind!
Their Kobe burger is also really good, not too dry but just perfect. I would recommend this place to hungry people who come from the long DMV wait because it is absolutely worth it!

Ate breakfast here this morning!  Had the traditional pancakes, eggs, and turkey bacon.  Everything was on point.  The service was great and I saw Chris Spencer (comedian)...lol!
Overall, I highly recommend this spot and will visit again. Makes me wonder if any of the other Jinky's are the same.  I guess I'll have to find out.  Stay tuned…

If you're trying to get a solid meal in before a Sunday Funday, Jinky's is your spot.
Got there on a Sunday around 1:30pm. It was easy to get a table and was pretty empty. The menu is nuts.... soooooo many choices! 2 out of the 4 of us are vegetarians and I'm certain we've never had this many choices for breakfast/brunch anywhere.
I'd never think to put chili on eggs, but that's the dish I decided to try at Jinky's. I wasn't disappointed. Their in house chili is on point. They have multiple chili options each day... 5, to be exact.
The service was just fine - then again, it was pretty empty by the time we got there.
It wasn’t the most memorable brunch in the world, but, I'd definitely go there again.
