I love their menu, and if you eat there during the week...never a wait.
They have an extensive menu, really friendly servers, and very fair pricing. I've eaten there at least a half dozen times, and never one complaint from me.
The decor is fine, but it's more of a breakfast/brunch place anyway, so decor doesn't matter much for those meals..

Solid family Cafe off the 118 on Arboles.
Location shares a parking lot with Ciscos and a strip mall so there is plenty of shopping. We went on a Friday night and it was nearly empty, which was concerning. The prices were reasonable; perhaps $3-4 higher per plate than you'd expect from similar cafes.
The service was 3-4 stars. Not great, but not terrible. The food was good overall. I got a Chicken Parm Sandwich which was tasty. My son had a flat bread pepperoni pizza which was pretty large and tasted good. My wife had a grilled chicken sandwich. Overall, the food was fresh and well prepared. Drinks were refilled after a short delay, but we didn't have to chase after the waitress.
The restaurant has nice booths and large TV's to watch sports. Frankly was surprised it was so empty on a Friday night.
Overall, a nice cafe to grab a bite. Family of four cost $60 after tip. Bit high for a cafe, but not crazy expensive. 4 stars.

I had been wanting to try this place for awhile and finally did this evening. The menu is HUGE and they have all kinds of options for anyone with a different kind of diet. I had a vegan breakfast that consisted of wild rice, tofu, and veggies with a side of tater tots. I can't resist tater tots! It was great except a bit too spicy for my tastes... next time will request that they go easy on the spice. Actually, next time I'll be ordering some of those delicious pancakes. We sat at the counter, which is always my preferred spot in a diner. Our server was awesome... didn't catch his name but he was a very friendly young guy who was doing a fabulous job behind the counter. Can't wait to go back for pancakes!

Good Local Food
Good for breakfast and lunch. Nice and large menu with something for everyone. BrEakfast is,my favorite and menu has lots of sweet and savory options. Normal prices and comfortable atmosphere. My experience has been that service is slow but not terribly.

Nice little cafe with a great breakfast menu, maybe a little pricey but they do have a discount arrangement with some of the nearby hotels so ask before ordering. The Turkey Sausage was a real hit with our table.

I've been to 2 other Jinky locations, so I am a big time fan of their menu. Pages and pages of variations with meat/veg/vegan options, you gotta be a fool to not find something that sounds delicious.
Being next to Trader Joe's could be good thing, but the small parking lot for the demand could be nearly a disaster for your temper, or your car. It's the one draw back, well also, a little line if you come at peak times.
Breakfast burrito was my option for the day (and it was awesome, and double-good is the pea quacamole), but other locations I've tried: The Veracruz Talapia (AMAZING), and the Mexicali chili (I liked a lot, but small for the price).
Live on the wild side, try to find parking -- and go.

While I'm somewhat of a Jinky's regular this is my first Yelp. We started with 2 than 3 and finished with 7. Throughout this they courteously accommodated our needs. Service was near superb refilling drinks and fulfilling any special requests from our party. Even correctly providing separate checks for us. Didn't hear any complaints about the good and my "Jinkys pizza was fantastic.

Stopped in today for lunch, had a cheese burger that was very good, a bowl of pork chili that was great, (actually the best I ever had) and a couple of ice cold beers on the patio. The service was very good. The bill came to $25 witch I thought was very reasonable. Good food, cold beer, nice atmosphere... I'll be back!

I went here about 2 months ago, the place is nice. The decor is nice and the waitress was very helpful. The food was great, and didn't take that long to make it. They give good portions. This place is definitely better than going to Denny's or IHOP. The prices where good too not pricey a little bit more expensive than ihop , but it's worth it. Overall great spot and I will be back in the future.

Best place for a Sunday Brunch!
Bottomless mimosas? "Yes Please!"
Food is great too! Something for everyone on the menu and everything I've ordered has come out hot and delicious!
Love this spot!

What would I do without Jinky's? I work nearby and have been picking up or eating at Jinky's at least once a week for five years. I think it's always a good sign when they have the same servers year in and year out. Everything here hits the spot. You can have a typical breakfast, a burger, a bowl of chilli or a healthy salad and all are equally delish an/\d reliable. They don't bat an eye when you make substitutions. My goal in life is to have them name a salad after me.

I have already been here 2xs in a row. Food is really good and so is service. If you don't like dogs make sure you sit inside. They have so many healthy options on their menu. Lattes are delicious too. New fav breakfast spot.

This is a breakfast review only as I have not had the privilege of tasting their chili!
I arrived early for a meeting, but was able to sit with my carafe of coffee and just relax. The atmosphere is casual, but the service is , without a doubt, served with a smile! I was in a booth and the table to booth ratio was not perfectly comfortable, but still adequate.
On to the food! I was tempted by the reviews to try the French toast and so many of the omelets! But in the end, I was craving veggies. I ordered the green and white omelet and chose tomatoes as my side. This was my way of being healthy. It was yummy! The sliced avocado on top was a nice added touch. I would definitely come here again!

Down here on vacation from Portland, hanging out with Brother N for the day.
It was nice out, so we decided to sit outside at the table just outside the door.
We each were eating a bit light, so we decided to split a "Feta Hummus Wrapwich with chicken". At its roots, it's a sandwich, but using Naan bread. The innards are a lovely hummus and feta spread, a salad of parsley and cucumber, sliced onions and peppers with a yogurt mint sauce. We added chicken. Excellent sandwich for those that like things flavorful but still on the "light" side.
Service was fine, and breakfast totaled about $13. Not bad, was relatively fast, and we were on our way. A-OK here.

Jinky's has been a favorite restaurant of mine for the last 15 years. They have a fantastic array of choice for any meal and all of it is very tasty. Their breakfast food is incredibly good as are there sandwiches. It's a little bit over priced but it is a consistently good meal no matter what you choose. Likewise, the staff and very friendly and always willing to help out. Jinky's is a great place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

I really love having breakfast here. Large patio, good food, bar, friendly service. Just a comfortable place to relax and eat. We drive 25 minutes to have breakfast here. (I MUCH prefer the atmosphere here to the Sherman Oaks' Jinky's.) It's also open late.
7/22/2014 **** Jimmy G. Sparks, NV
Jinkys is so amazing the menu is very eclectic with so many delicious things to choose from. I usually go there for breakfast. The chili is so good and so are their house made breakfast potatoes. Parking situation isn't ideal that's the only negative to this place.
7/21/2014 ***** Kristan D. Van Nuys, CA
Great place for breakfast or lunch! Cheap drinks but delicious, you can either get an ice ice cold bottle of beer or a great mixed drink for super cheap!! The chili is awesome!!!! Especially if you like spicy and no beans! Must get an order of tater tots!! Share with the table!
Also dog friendly on the patio!

Had breakfast here with the girlfriend. I went french toast and she went pancakes and we were both impressed. They have an impressive chili menu and I'll be curious to come back and try some of those. If you go on weekends, might want to pack some earplugs as it's a very family-friendly place, which means screaming babies/children! BE WARNED!
Oh, also LOOK FOR STREET PARKING!! They have a parking lot but it is the worst parking lot known to man. If you park in the back section of it, good luck getting out as it's only ONE WAY and as your trying to turn around to get out, more people will be trying to get in only to realize there's no more room, so then they start to turn around... JUST AVOID IT. Park on the street. You'll be much happier, trust me.

I love this place! When my husband or friends ask me where I want to go for breakfast I always say Jinky's Studio City Cafe!
I love that they have so many options on their menu. I always get the iced green tea. It is Super delicious, and Super refreshing. My favorite is creating my own scramble. Everytime I've been in there I've always had really good service. They have many locations but this one has a patio. People bring their dogs so you must love dogs to sit out there.
The Studio City location is my favorite! I love the Sherman Oaks location too, but the patio at this location wins me over =)
Peace, Love, and happy Yelping to you all =)

Nice staff and they always get my order correct.

Since I was a kid I've been coming here once in a while. I'm not a big breakfast eater but this place is decent food, reasonable price, and feels homey. Downfall to this place is parking. They have a semi- private lot but what a nightmare! There are never parking spots and street parking is horrendous, even worse now that more shopping food centers have opened up just blocks away. This is a good go to for breakfast in a pinch.
6/23/2014 ***** Freddy M. PANORAMA CITY, CA
The staff is very friendly and cozy environment. I was sat right away, and the place was buzzing for breakfast with what seemed like professionals on lunch enjoying a nice brunch. Plenty of seating tables and a few booths. The food was tasty(had the french toast with banana, strawberry, and chocolate chips)and definitely had a homemade feel. Prices are between 10-20 dollars, but menu does offer a verity of options. Over all this place seemed perfect for an intimate breakfast with family and or friends.

Food was great and they have a lot of selection. Also a very nice place to eat at. Right next to hotel Carmel which doesn't have the best of breakfast to offer.

Jinky's had a wide range of selections for anyone ranging from vegetarian to meat lovers. I got the pesto chicken ciabatta while my girlfriend got their boston chili. I have been known to choose the wrong dish when dining at new places, but this time, I was lucky to choose something that was not only filling, but delicious as well. I would highly recommend anyone to try Jinky's.

Just had to use my $10 for $20 Living Social. Wish I had bought a ton! I'm a SM local and never think of Jinky's, but the food was great, portions were large, and there were a ton of healthy options. They also have soy milk!
I got the Italian breakfast sandwich with egg whites, spinach, and goat cheese instead of mozzarella. On sourdough. Side of tater tots. Yum!! I also ordered the short stack of the oaty oat pancakes (oatmeal, oat bran, and wheat) to go to meet my $20. Haven't tried, but I am sure they will be great.
Sat outside on the small patio and made use of the free wifi.

If you're an indecisive breakfast or brunch eater, this is not the menu you want to be faced with! I consider Jinkys to be the west coast version of The Griddle Cafe...large portions, creative concoctions of pancakes, waffles, french toast, and egg/meat dishes. I challenge anyone to finish their plate. Whether you are a lover of sweets or hearty breakfasts, you will find something appealing.
I think the biggest thing that sets Jinkys apart from anywhere else you will ever go is the number of menu items. Just wait…
