I love their menu, and if you eat there during the week...never a wait.
They have an extensive menu, really friendly servers, and very fair pricing. I've eaten there at least a half dozen times, and never one complaint from me.
The decor is fine, but it's more of a breakfast/brunch place anyway, so decor doesn't matter much for those meals..

Solid family Cafe off the 118 on Arboles.
Location shares a parking lot with Ciscos and a strip mall so there is plenty of shopping. We went on a Friday night and it was nearly empty, which was concerning. The prices were reasonable; perhaps $3-4 higher per plate than you'd expect from similar cafes.
The service was 3-4 stars. Not great, but not terrible. The food was good overall. I got a Chicken Parm Sandwich which was tasty. My son had a flat bread pepperoni pizza which was pretty large and tasted good. My wife had a grilled chicken sandwich. Overall, the food was fresh and well prepared. Drinks were refilled after a short delay, but we didn't have to chase after the waitress.
The restaurant has nice booths and large TV's to watch sports. Frankly was surprised it was so empty on a Friday night.
Overall, a nice cafe to grab a bite. Family of four cost $60 after tip. Bit high for a cafe, but not crazy expensive. 4 stars.

I had been wanting to try this place for awhile and finally did this evening. The menu is HUGE and they have all kinds of options for anyone with a different kind of diet. I had a vegan breakfast that consisted of wild rice, tofu, and veggies with a side of tater tots. I can't resist tater tots! It was great except a bit too spicy for my tastes... next time will request that they go easy on the spice. Actually, next time I'll be ordering some of those delicious pancakes. We sat at the counter, which is always my preferred spot in a diner. Our server was awesome... didn't catch his name but he was a very friendly young guy who was doing a fabulous job behind the counter. Can't wait to go back for pancakes!

Good Local Food
Good for breakfast and lunch. Nice and large menu with something for everyone. BrEakfast is,my favorite and menu has lots of sweet and savory options. Normal prices and comfortable atmosphere. My experience has been that service is slow but not terribly.

Getting better, went back for the waffle. Yep, it was good. Added eggs and chorizo to the meal.

5 star atmosphere and service. Went for a late lunch with my mastiff puppy, and they were more than happy to accommodate me on the patio. Great fast and friendly service, and a deep breakfast menu. Would like to come back to try the bottomless mimosas.

Just had to use my $10 for $20 Living Social. Wish I had bought a ton! I'm a SM local and never think of Jinky's, but the food was great, portions were large, and there were a ton of healthy options. They also have soy milk!
I got the Italian breakfast sandwich with egg whites, spinach, and goat cheese instead of mozzarella. On sourdough. Side of tater tots. Yum!! I also ordered the short stack of the oaty oat pancakes (oatmeal, oat bran, and wheat) to go to meet my $20. Haven't tried, but I am sure they will be great.
Sat outside on the small patio and made use of the free wifi.

When the place gets jumping (generally speaking after 10 am on the weekends), the staff can get a little testy. But that is NEVER a reason to skip Jinky's - my favorite place to have breakfast in the known universe.
Breakfast is my favorite meal of any day. I am blessed to be able to say that I have traveled extensively through each of the 48 contiguous United States AND the Big Island of Hawaii, and while there are absolutely awesome places to get a delicious plate of eggy/pancaky/cerealesque magic in this great land, nothing beats the food at this place.
The menu is huge. There is something for everyone. The pancakes are heavenly. They have a whole grain "oatmeal" that is as healthy - and as mouthwatering - as the day is long. Great omelettes. Any sort of breakfast food you can imagine is available.
But for me, it's the Alan's Favorite scramble - Jinky's version of chilaquiles - that takes me to Nirvana every....single...time.
I LOVE bacon. And sausage. Meat meat meat. And cheese cheese cheese.
And it was only after I'd eaten the Alan's Favorite four - count 'em, - times that I realized it's TOTALLY VEGETARIAN (not Vegan, obviously, but VEGETARIAN) and I not only eat it....I drool at the very thought of it...
Eggs scrambled with fresh red onions, tomatoes, bell peppers, cilantro, jalapenos, crushed pepper, Indian spices and tortilla chips.
Go there. ASAP. Breakfast is served all day. Jeeeez I think I may head over there right now....

Just came from here! I'm a huge fan of both valley locations. This one has a really hip vibe and best of all, a BAR! They have beer on tap, wine, and my personal fav, bottomless mimosas!
They boast the same great menu as the Sherman Oaks location, and the food is always fresh and fast. This location even has a nice extra large patio area for you sun worshipers! Come for breakfast, lunch, or dinner... Everything is great here food wise..especially their wide variety of homemade chili. They even have vegetarian and vegan menu items! The only problem with both locations is parking. There are a few spaces, but once they're gone you're on your own so get there EARLY!
