Solid family Cafe off the 118 on Arboles.
Location shares a parking lot with Ciscos and a strip mall so there is plenty of shopping. We went on a Friday night and it was nearly empty, which was concerning. The prices were reasonable; perhaps $3-4 higher per plate than you'd expect from similar cafes.
The service was 3-4 stars. Not great, but not terrible. The food was good overall. I got a Chicken Parm Sandwich which was tasty. My son had a flat bread pepperoni pizza which was pretty large and tasted good. My wife had a grilled chicken sandwich. Overall, the food was fresh and well prepared. Drinks were refilled after a short delay, but we didn't have to chase after the waitress.
The restaurant has nice booths and large TV's to watch sports. Frankly was surprised it was so empty on a Friday night.
Overall, a nice cafe to grab a bite. Family of four cost $60 after tip. Bit high for a cafe, but not crazy expensive. 4 stars.

I had been wanting to try this place for awhile and finally did this evening. The menu is HUGE and they have all kinds of options for anyone with a different kind of diet. I had a vegan breakfast that consisted of wild rice, tofu, and veggies with a side of tater tots. I can't resist tater tots! It was great except a bit too spicy for my tastes... next time will request that they go easy on the spice. Actually, next time I'll be ordering some of those delicious pancakes. We sat at the counter, which is always my preferred spot in a diner. Our server was awesome... didn't catch his name but he was a very friendly young guy who was doing a fabulous job behind the counter. Can't wait to go back for

This is my go to place when i'm too lazy to cook. They have just about everything, and its usually good too. Theres indoor and outdoor seating, and plenty of it. But on the weekends they get super busy and the wait time can get a bit long. The staff are usually nice, but i've noticed on their lesser busy days they get pretty lazy. I once waited 10 mins for a waitress to appear to drop off drinks, then she left and didn't come back for 20 mins, totally unacceptable. And I know she wasn't busy, as I could see her sitting at a table chatting. I had to get up and ask someone else for help. Aside from that issue, everything else has always been good. The food isn't the best in the world, but its good enough to keep coming back.

I had the coconut, blueberry and strawberry French Toast with a side of eggs and bacon. I know I know, horrible but I felt I was due for a treat so I went big. AMAZING! For whatever reason I've never found fruit with my french toast appealing however this place completely changed my mind. Every ingredient worked perfect together. The bread was nice and fluffy with some sort of almond crunch edges. (reminded me of the almond pretzels from Anne's Pretzels). I for whatever reason felt it wasn't enough sugar so I also ordered their hot chocolate. Nice and creamy. Not overbearing or flavorless. Just perfect. Oh and the service was great as well. Quick service and never needed to ask for refills.
My husband had the Belgian Waffles with a side of sunny side up eggs and bacon. Short and sweet, " It's good, 5 stars."
Okay I'm finished now and feel fat, excuse me while I go work it off. OYE!!!

Great healthy, vegan options. Mung beans and rice is so awesome. They are really good about substituting too. My new favorite place.

Jinky's is my favorite brunch in LA. ALWAYS worth braving the 3rd Street Promenade mess on the weekends. You can almost always find parking in one of the garages on 2nd street, even on a busy day. As for the restaurant, there may be a slight wait, but it's never been outrageous for me. Just remember, they won't sit incomplete parties!
I love Jinky's Favorite omelet, and ANY of the Mexican breakfast items (breakfast quesadila!). Their breakfast potatoes are always awesome, and I love their chilis (you can ask for a sample too). I've also thoroughly enjoyed all of the lunch items I have tried. Basically, I would eat here every day if I could. Definitely try it!

This place was walking distance from our hotel, we enjoyed breakfast here 2 days. Great for kids, lots of choices for Breakfast Brunch, quick fast service and good food. Skip the muffins.
