I had been wanting to try this place for awhile and finally did this evening. The menu is HUGE and they have all kinds of options for anyone with a different kind of diet. I had a vegan breakfast that consisted of wild rice, tofu, and veggies with a side of tater tots. I can't resist tater tots! It was great except a bit too spicy for my tastes... next time will request that they go easy on the spice. Actually, next time I'll be ordering some of those delicious pancakes. We sat at the counter, which is always my preferred spot in a diner. Our server was awesome... didn't catch his name but he was a very friendly young guy who was doing a fabulous job behind the counter. Can't wait to go back for pancakes!
REVIEWS Â 9/16/2014 ****Â Molli O.Â Sherman Oaks, CA When I was on a health kick, I came here for the salads. I really love their salmon salad with balsamic vinaigrette, as well as their Greek salad, and the chicken walnut salad with blue cheese. I also love their omelets, especially the Sherman Oaks omelet-- spinach, mushrooms, garlic, and cheese. If you're watching your diet, be sure to request egg whites only, and fruit instead of potatoes. But when I'm in the mood for a splurge and calories don't count, the flaky French toast is to die for!!!!! Try it with bananas and blueberries! I also love their pumpkin pancakes with turkey sausage and cinnamon apples. Yum! The only reasons I didn't give five stars are a.) the crowds on weekend mornings (and afternoons!) can be a nightmare, and b.) I used to come in so often that they would give me my "usual" drink before I even sat down, and one time when I asked for something different they were rude about it. But other than that it's a winner!
