My friend and I go to Jinky's almost every weekend. The place is usually pretty packed, but worth the wait. The food is great. I usually get the Chicken and Herb omelette with potatoes. The potatoes are AMAZING.
The food could be considered a little pricey compared to a few other breakfast places around the area, but I think it's worth it. I've always found the waiters to be pretty great, if not, hilarious.

Came here with a friend for brunch and we were seated outside after waiting for 15 minutes in the beautiful Santa Monica sunshine. We were very hungry so we ordered right away and after searching through Yelp I decided to try the egg and chili combo. I can't remember exactly what chili I selected but I think it was the second from the top on the back page. Anyways, it was very tasty (not as spicy as I was expecting from the menu ratings) and I really enjoyed it being paired with the omelette. It also came with toast as well which I enjoyed with the blackberry jam they had there. In addition, we both ordered glasses of orange juice and it was very tasty as well as it must have been freshly squeezed which unfortunately is hard to come by these days. Overall, this restaurant is one of my favorites for breakfast in Los Angeles and will definitely be going back soon!

Cute place with very friendly servers. I had the Santa Fe Scramble and all I can say is WOW. Perfect balance of veggies, eggs and chorizo, with the very inventive and great addition of corn tortilla strips for a little crunch! I was skeptical about the pea guacamole since I'm not a huge fan of peas, but it was delicious and seasoned just right! I loved it so much I tried to go back the next day and the day after, but they had lost power. I am definitely going back for more as soon as I can!

Jinky's is my favorite brunch in LA. ALWAYS worth braving the 3rd Street Promenade mess on the weekends. You can almost always find parking in one of the garages on 2nd street, even on a busy day. As for the restaurant, there may be a slight wait, but it's never been outrageous for me. Just remember, they won't sit incomplete parties!
I love Jinky's Favorite omelet, and ANY of the Mexican breakfast items (breakfast quesadilla!). Their breakfast potatoes are always awesome, and I love their chilis (you can ask for a sample too). I've also thoroughly enjoyed all of the lunch items I have tried. Basically, I would eat here every day if I could. Definitely try it!

Amazing & Extensive menu. Best Breakfast in Santa Monica!!
Every time I go to Jinky's, I try something new. Everything has been 5 stars. When I go for breakfast I have a hard time deciding sweet or savory. While you decide, they bring you your own jug of coffee to keep at the table. 3 cups later..
Go Sweet with these - Flaky French Toast, Red Velvet or Pumpkin Waffles, Berry Nutty Crepe
Go Savory with these - Healthy Scramble, Garden Scramble, Athens Delight, French Garden or just a classic Eggs Benedict
For fellow Vegetarians, they serve soy chorizo, soy bacon, and other yummy soy products.
