I love their menu, and if you eat there during the week...never a wait.
They have an extensive menu, really friendly servers, and very fair pricing. I've eaten there at least a half dozen times, and never one complaint from me.
The decor is fine, but it's more of a breakfast/brunch place anyway, so decor doesn't matter much for those meals..

Solid family Cafe off the 118 on Arboles.
Location shares a parking lot with Ciscos and a strip mall so there is plenty of shopping. We went on a Friday night and it was nearly empty, which was concerning. The prices were reasonable; perhaps $3-4 higher per plate than you'd expect from similar cafes.
The service was 3-4 stars. Not great, but not terrible. The food was good overall. I got a Chicken Parm Sandwich which was tasty. My son had a flat bread pepperoni pizza which was pretty large and tasted good. My wife had a grilled chicken sandwich. Overall, the food was fresh and well prepared. Drinks were refilled after a short delay, but we didn't have to chase after the waitress.
The restaurant has nice booths and large TV's to watch sports. Frankly was surprised it was so empty on a Friday night.
Overall, a nice cafe to grab a bite. Family of four cost $60 after tip. Bit high for a cafe, but not crazy expensive. 4 stars.
REVIEWS 6/21/2014 **** Muriel A. Manhattan Beach, CA I love this place because you can be as good or as bad as you want. You have so many options! I see other people eating their fruit and egg whites, but usually I come here for the pancakes. The pumpkin pancakes are so good!!! Every once in the while when I'm in the mood for something forbidden I have the chili cheese fries. Omg. They are so good. You pick your chili out of their vast collection and then they use it to smother crinkle cut fries. And then they add cheese. And sour cream. Oh my. It's too good. It can be kind hard to get a seat here at breakfast time. And I agree with some of the other reviewers that service can be a little weird. The last time I was here my waitress was overly attentive when we sat down and then nowhere to be found later, thus the minus 1 star. However, the food is totally worth the trouble. YUM!

I went to Jinky's on a Sunday morning for breakfast. We waited in a line that kept getting bigger and bigger, even though tables were open, because nobody thought to come to the front to seat anyone. I would have eaten at the counter, but there was a sign that said you must check in with the staff before sitting at the counter... So, that is definitely an improvement. I was pretty impressed with the variety of items on the breakfast menu - it includes everything from scrambles and quesadillas to eggs benedict and pancakes and omelette's. This restaurant does offer breakfast items for Vegans (or people like me allergic to eggs and dairy) - they offer oatmeal and granola and some items with tofu or a veggie patty - more than most other breakfast places offer! Most breakfast items are around $9 and have large portions. We tried the flaky french toast and the blueberry pancakes, both of which were excellent. So, good ratings for the variety, quality and size of food. Bad for long waits and seating people. Oh, and don't forget to park for free at the mall's garage.
