I love their menu, and if you eat there during the week...never a wait.
They have an extensive menu, really friendly servers, and very fair pricing. I've eaten there at least a half dozen times, and never one complaint from me.
The decor is fine, but it's more of a breakfast/brunch place anyway, so decor doesn't matter much for those meals..

Solid family Cafe off the 118 on Arboles.
Location shares a parking lot with Ciscos and a strip mall so there is plenty of shopping. We went on a Friday night and it was nearly empty, which was concerning. The prices were reasonable; perhaps $3-4 higher per plate than you'd expect from similar cafes.
The service was 3-4 stars. Not great, but not terrible. The food was good overall. I got a Chicken Parm Sandwich which was tasty. My son had a flat bread pepperoni pizza which was pretty large and tasted good. My wife had a grilled chicken sandwich. Overall, the food was fresh and well prepared. Drinks were refilled after a short delay, but we didn't have to chase after the waitress.
The restaurant has nice booths and large TV's to watch sports. Frankly was surprised it was so empty on a Friday night.
Overall, a nice cafe to grab a bite. Family of four cost $60 after tip. Bit high for a cafe, but not crazy expensive. 4 stars.

My husband and I frequently travel out to California...simply because we are tired of Wisconsin...AND BIG TIME NOW with all that is occurring in our state. When in the area we ALWAYS stop at Studio Cafe in Sherman Oaks. This last time out to CA we ventured to wine country and were very happy to stumble upon SC's sister restaurant, Jinky's Kanan Cafe. What a delightful spot and setting! The restaurant borders bike and hiking trails...which makes for great outside sitting. The ambience is perfect inside...with friendly staff and stylish-hip decorating. Always love the pumpkin pancakes...I hate syrup and they are so tasty without having to drench them in anything! After a few days up north we ventured back and how could we not resist stopping AGAIN? This time for lunch. I had the Kobe Burger and my husband had the Chicken Parmesan Ciabatta....one word "yum"! Both my husband and I have extensive backgrounds in restaurants...considering this sweet little spot had only been open a handful of days it was impressive how professional and efficient they were operating. Kudos to you Jinky's Kanan Cafe....you have won the hearts of this Wisconsin couple! Hope to see you again SOON!
