My husband and I frequently travel out to California...simply because we are tired of Wisconsin...AND BIG TIME NOW with all that is occurring in our state. When in the area we ALWAYS stop at Studio Cafe in Sherman Oaks. This last time out to CA we ventured to wine country and were very happy to stumble upon SC's sister restaurant, Jinky's Kanan Cafe. What a delightful spot and setting! The restaurant borders bike and hiking trails...which makes for great outside sitting. The ambience is perfect inside...with friendly staff and stylish-hip decorating. Always love thepumpkin pancakes...I hate syrup and they are so tasty without having to drench them in anything! After a few days up north we ventured back and how could we not resist stopping AGAIN? This time for lunch. I had theKobe Burger and my husband had theChicken Parmesan Ciabatta....one word "yum"! Both my husband and I have extensive backgrounds in restaurants...considering this sweet little spot had only been open a handful of days it was impressive how professional and efficient they were operating. Kudos to you Jinky's Kanan Cafe....you have won the hearts of this Wisconsin couple! Hope to see you again SOON!
