My friend and I go to Jinky's almost every weekend. The place is usually pretty packed, but worth the wait. The food is great. I usually get the Chicken and Herb omelette with potatoes. The potatoes are AMAZING.
The food could be considered a little pricey compared to a few other breakfast places around the area, but I think it's worth it. I've always found the waiters to be pretty great, if not, hilarious.

We had breakfast, and the variety on the menu is very good. The wait was short for an outside table (1 pm Sunday) The Service was great and the food we had was very tasty Much better than I expected".
On our second time eating here, we are still amazed at the great choices and combinations of food available.
The service is always great.

Still lovin the Jinkx winks! I ate here twice this week. Once at the Studio cafe location on Ventura and Colfax, and then the next day (yesterday) at Ventura and Stansbury. I really love both locations.
The Colfax location is amazing because they have booze baby!! $13 bottomless mimosas, beer, and wine. Awesome! Aside from the alcoholic choices, both locations have the same menu. Very nice waffles, eggs, a wide assortment of sausages, and the best freaking Chili ever!!! I don't eat beef or pork, and the options without are wonderful!! I love the boston turkey, or the East Indian Chicken Chili, which is filled with an array of exotic spices you wouldn't normally find in american chili. Give it a try!!
The service at both spots is great! The servers are cool, and know the menu and the quoted wait time is always accurate in my experience. An extra cool bit is if you're dining alone, you can always self seat at the bar with no wait, even if the line is out the door!
Check out the pic of my waffle. You will want to eat there immediately!
If i had one gripe, it would be that the butter is always too cold to spread on toast. Have the kitchen take it out of the fridge when they are prepping in the morning jinkys! That way, it's soft and spreadable!

Cute place with very friendly servers. I had the Santa Fe Scramble and all I can say is WOW. Perfect balance of veggies, eggs and chorizo, with the very inventive and great addition of corn tortilla strips for a little crunch! I was skeptical about the pea guacamole since I'm not a huge fan of peas, but it was delicious and seasoned just right! I loved it so much I tried to go back the next day and the day after, but they had lost power. I am definitely going back for more as soon as I can!

Jinky's is my favorite brunch in LA. ALWAYS worth braving the 3rd Street Promenade mess on the weekends. You can almost always find parking in one of the garages on 2nd street, even on a busy day. As for the restaurant, there may be a slight wait, but it's never been outrageous for me. Just remember, they won't sit incomplete parties!
I love Jinky's Favorite omelet, and ANY of the Mexican breakfast items (breakfast quesadilla!). Their breakfast potatoes are always awesome, and I love their chilis (you can ask for a sample too). I've also thoroughly enjoyed all of the lunch items I have tried. Basically, I would eat here everyday if I could. Definitely try it!

Breakfast place that tastes, well just like breakfast
I have to say Jinky's is one of my favorite breakfast places on the westside. It's almost on que that on weekend mornings after a long night out I want to go grab breakfast, and Jinky's has hit the spot routinely. Everything on the menu tastes great without being over complicated like a lot of restaurants tend to make things. I usually get the chili omelet due to the fact that they always have a large selection of chilis to pick from. Another favorite of mine and friends is the flaky french toast. It's like a flavor explosion in your mouth of breakfasty goodness.
If you order coffee they give your table its own pot, which comes in handy for someone like myself who requires more than one cup to get the day started. The staff is always friendly and are almost telepathic at times knowing you need things. This is great considering there have been mornings where I am not in the right frame of mind to be hassled with things or at times form coherent sentences.
The only real negative to this place is the parking and the wait at times. Since its so close to the promenade, parking in one of the structures can be frustrating. Also because of its location it can get pretty busy some mornings. I have grown to expect this anywhere though in Los Angeles that serves a good breakfast on the weekends. Now after writing this review I am really craving some waffles, hmmmm.......

This place was walking distance from our hotel, we enjoyed breakfast here 2 days. Great for kids, lots of choices for Breakfast Brunch, quick fast service and good food. Skip the muffins.
