I love their menu, and if you eat there during the week...never a wait.
They have an extensive menu, really friendly servers, and very fair pricing. I've eaten there at least a half dozen times, and never one complaint from me.
The decor is fine, but it's more of a breakfast/brunch place anyway, so decor doesn't matter much for those meals..

Solid family Cafe off the 118 on Arboles.
Location shares a parking lot with Ciscos and a strip mall so there is plenty of shopping. We went on a Friday night and it was nearly empty, which was concerning. The prices were reasonable; perhaps $3-4 higher per plate than you'd expect from similar cafes.
The service was 3-4 stars. Not great, but not terrible. The food was good overall. I got a Chicken Parm Sandwich which was tasty. My son had a flat bread pepperoni pizza which was pretty large and tasted good. My wife had a grilled chicken sandwich. Overall, the food was fresh and well prepared. Drinks were refilled after a short delay, but we didn't have to chase after the waitress.
The restaurant has nice booths and large TV's to watch sports. Frankly was surprised it was so empty on a Friday night.
Overall, a nice cafe to grab a bite. Family of four cost $60 after tip. Bit high for a cafe, but not crazy expensive. 4 stars.

Well, my most recent experience with Jinky's was finally on par with its food. I went back yesterday for lunch because I was craving their Rosemary Omelet, and the service was vastly improved. The host staff was friendly and admirably efficient; I was impressed with how quickly they had people moving in and out of the restaurant.
We waited a few minutes, but only because they were busy, and we were seated as soon as there was an opening. Even though they were crowded, the restaurant was well-staffed, so we were attended to and served quickly. Everyone was very polite and friendly (entirely new staff), and somehow, it wasn't even as impossibly loud as it used to be.

This is one of my favorite places to have breakfast. The omelets are large and the pumpkin pancakes are delicious. I usually sit at the counter and get a polite, friendly and tall red-headed server. You get served a thermos of hot coffee so you can refill yourself for only $2.75. I like this because no one goes around refilling my cup and changing the mixture of cream and sugar I have already prepared. The food always comes out quick. The food runner is always amiable and helpful. The busboy always comes over to say hello. These guys are always nice. I recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant and comfortable place to get breakfast in the area.
