I don't know why it's taken me so long to write a review. I come to Jinky's all the time. It's so delicious, and the staff is beyond amazing (and quite knowledgeable about the menu)! I've never had, or heard of, a bad experience at Jinky's. The flaky French toast is a must have, get SBC if your sweet tooth is acting up. You won't be disappointed, I promise. The Viva Las Vegan scramble is amazing, as well. Enjoy!

Friendly staff, great service, family atmosphere and a menu listing something for every taste --- that is what you'll find at Jinky's Kanan Cafe. We walked in without a reservation from the Homewood Suites just down the street.  The folks at Jinky's were accommodating and welcoming, seating us at an outdoor table with a nice view of the landscape below their patio and even outfitting us with an outdoor heater.

My husband --- who is a very picky eater --- really enjoyed the Mexicali Fajitas. I highly recommend the Salmon Tikka Masala!  This is dining at opposite ends of the spectrum while sitting at the same table!  I was not kidding before when I said it was possible to find something for every taste! Jinky's also offers a decent kids menu.

All-in-all a great experience!

REVIEWS 7/5/2011 ***** Fat Cat's U. Venice, CA this is 1 of our favorite places, we go here at least once a week! the himalayan beef chili is to die for, as is the sierra mountain breakfast (or any breakfast dish with their flaky french toast.) love the chicken apple sausage & iced green tea. Also love the greek omelette, and the (i think it's called) sherman oaks salad? deliciously fresh & has fruit in it. there's something for everyone on this huge breakfast/lunch menu. I just wish they were open past 3 pm! :-)

The chili is the best.  They usually have 4-5 chili's for the day and they range from mild to HOT HOT HOT! It's pretty much a diner so you can get typical diner food as well like burgers, salads, etc. They also serve breakfast all day so there is an extensive omelet menu as well as pancakes, french toast, etc. Since their chili is so good I usually stick with either the chili burger or the chili omelet where I can choose from one of today's chilis. It's nice, it's casual, it's great.
