Solid family Cafe off the 118 on Arboles.
Location shares a parking lot with Ciscos and a strip mall so there is plenty of shopping. We went on a Friday night and it was nearly empty, which was concerning. The prices were reasonable; perhaps $3-4 higher per plate than you'd expect from similar cafes.
The service was 3-4 stars. Not great, but not terrible. The food was good overall. I got a Chicken Parm Sandwich which was tasty. My son had a flat bread pepperoni pizza which was pretty large and tasted good. My wife had a grilled chicken sandwich. Overall, the food was fresh and well prepared. Drinks were refilled after a short delay, but we didn't have to chase after the waitress.
The restaurant has nice booths and large TV's to watch sports. Frankly was surprised it was so empty on a Friday night.
Overall, a nice cafe to grab a bite. Family of four cost $60 after tip. Bit high for a cafe, but not crazy expensive. 4 stars.

I had been wanting to try this place for awhile and finally did this evening. The menu is HUGE and they have all kinds of options for anyone with a different kind of diet. I had a vegan breakfast that consisted of wild rice, tofu, and veggies with a side of tater tots. I can't resist tater tots! It was great except a bit too spicy for my tastes... next time will request that they go easy on the spice. Actually, next time I'll be ordering some of those delicious pancakes. We sat at the counter, which is always my preferred spot in a diner. Our server was awesome... didn't catch his name but he was a very friendly young guy who was doing a fabulous job behind the counter. Can't wait to go back for pancakes!

Sherman Oaks, CA love my jinkys!!! i am a regular at this spot... don't know why i haven't done a review for my jinkys. i eat here at least once a week. the food is great! great service, very clean, and they love me! this is another restaurant with a million things on the menu. if you're looking for breakfast, then try the waffle. its soooooooooooo yumtastic. also do not fail to order the chicken apple sausage. i am allergic (yes allergic) to pork, so its nice to have a chicken option, not to mention that it tastes amazing. they also have hmmmmm... lemme think... like 10,000 kinds of chili. i love chili, but i don't eat beef. i know. shut up. try the east indian chicken chili. made with cardamom, nutmeg, and indian spices like you've never tasted. love my jinkys!!!! see you guys in a few days! xoxo
